I was honored to join forces with my friends from the Syrian Orchestra and to collaborate with British star Damon Alban. Our performance was part of London’s celebrations of the Oscars at Trafalgar Square and came after the screening of Asghar Farhadi’s film The Salesman. The entire evening was a beautiful celebration of diversity and solidarity in the face of Trump’s fascist travel ban and the host was no one but London’s Mayor Mr.

I’m happy to share two tracks for Hollywood’s recent production “Gold” by amazing film composer Daniel Pemberton featuring my kanun. “Gold” was released earlier this month and now showing in the UK and world wide. Listen/see here.

I just got back from Lille after a great concert with Lorenzo Bianchi (electronic music) and Mark Nammour (spoken word artist).  It took place in the city of Lille for Festival Prise Directe of literature and contemporary theatre. Playing to fundraise for Help Refugees UK and Bristol Refugee Rights at Union chapel was such a beautiful experience. There was magic in the air. See a video here.
