24 February 2019 The biggest honour I received yet <3

Year 6 class in Dalmain Primary School is named after yours truly.
Meeting the children was beyond amazing.
They drew those beautiful portraits and wrote this heart exploding poem AND they sang it in assembly last week.

When Maya Youssef came to school,

She shared her art and shared her dreams.

She played to us with so much joy,

And made us all feel so unique.

Maya, we’re so thankful,

For your wise words, for your music

You are a pioneer

You are a superstar.

Maya worked so hard to get

To the place she is today

She taught us girls to not give up

And fight to reach our dreams
